The Municipality of Ulcinj as a beneficiary (Project Partner no. 6) in the project “Network for Green and Inclusive Fortified Tourism Solutions - GIFTSnet (project ID HR-BA-ME00047)”, funded under the INTERREG CBC CROATIA - BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA - MONTENEGRO, invites interested candidates to apply for the following position:
Financial Manager for the GIFTSnet
Requirements and qualifications:
● University degree in economics, business management, hospitality and tourism management or similar;
● Professional fluency in English and Montenegrin language, both oral and written;
● Advanced computer literacy;
● Communication skills.
● Knowledge of EU financial implementation rules;
● Knowledge of EU policies, Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance and European Territorial Cooperation (ETC), will be considered as advantage;
● Knowledge of PRAG rules will be considered as advantage.
● Professional fluency in Albanian language, both oral and written, will be considered as advantage.

Position: Financial Manager for the GIFTSnet PROJECT.
Location: Municipality of Ulcinj, Ulcinj
Duration of assignment: 12 months (with possibility of extension up to 30 months)
Overall objective
The Financial Manager is responsible for financial management of the GIFTSnet project for the Municipality of Ulcinj, in line with the approved Application Form, Subsidy Contract, Partners Agreement and INTERREG CBC Croatia - Bosnia and Herzegovina - Montenegro rules.
Selected Financial Manager will perform following duties:
• Provide financial management and technical assistance to the Project Coordinator and Project Team;
• Generate project reports, covering both content and financial aspects;
• Assist in procurement procedures to ensure the project's resource needs are met.
• Monitor the implementation of the project, ensuring it aligns with established goals.
• Participate in the preparation of reports detailing the progress of project implementation.
• Collaborate with project partners to facilitate the successful execution of the Danube Indeet project.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by superiors to contribute to the overall success of the project.
